Full of character, on the edge of the woods at the end of a private lane this beautiful three storey Victorian house nestles in the heart of the Wye Valley with stunning views over the wonderful River Wye and up to famous Yat Rock. The house easily accommodates 22 people and is perfect for family get-togethers, special occasions, celebrations, reunions and fun, activity-based holidays – ideal for group self catering holidays in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.
It combines genuine peace and quiet (apart from the sound of the river) and absolutely no traffic, with loads to do nearby and 3 excellent pub/restaurants within walking distance (plus one that’s accessed by river ferry….). It’s comfortable, totally safe for children and pets, has open fires, stunning views, a hot tub and games room, and our guests return time and again for a group self catering holiday in the Wye Valley or Forest of Dean.

Accommodation is arranged over three floors. There are 6 double bedrooms, 1 twin room and 2 family rooms (twin beds and 1 set of bunk beds). Most rooms are en-suite.
Outdoors
There is plenty of seating on the patio overlooking the river. There is small flat grassed area and a hot tub is located in the terraced gardens. The Hot Tub is situated on its own terrace with stunning views of the rivwr and up to Yat Rock

The house is located in Symonds Yat West, deep in the heart of the Wye Valley, where beautiful countryside starts just outside the front door. The local area has an abundance of activities from gentle walks and historic castles to visit and explore to more adventurous activities such as climbing, abseiling, canoeing, horse riding, high wire adventures, adventure playgrounds & barns, caves and river cruises to name but a few. There are also 4 golf courses all within a 20 minute drive. walkis are endless with three short walks to pub/restaurants.
