Locat­ed at the end of a pri­vate lane on the east bank of the Riv­er Mon­now in a 2 acre plot, yet only a 10 minute walk into the heart of the beau­ti­ful bor­der town of Mon­mouth, the Manor offers the very best in com­bined town and coun­try group self cater­ing in the pic­turesque Wye Valley.

We’ve con­vert­ed this glo­ri­ous man­sion to pro­vide the space, loca­tion and facil­i­ties which will ensure you have a gen­uine­ly mem­o­rable holiday.

Indoors there’s more than enough space to sleep 24, with a cou­ple of cots for the under 3’s. 9 of the bed­rooms have their own bath­room whilst 2 share two fur­ther fam­i­ly bath­rooms. The ground floor hous­es an easy access twin room (equal­ly help­ful for the elder­ly, par­tial­ly-abled, or sim­ply those who don’t like stairs) with it’s own loo and show­er room nearby.

The Great hall has a wood burn­er, satel­lite TV, DVD play­er and music sys­tem, while the din­ing room com­fort­ably accom­mo­dates 24 round the table. The kitchen and break­fast room make enter­tain­ing a breeze.

On site, there’s plen­ty to keep every­body amused: a games room with table ten­nis, pool, table foot­ball and more; a hot tub to unwind after a day’s walk­ing, canoe­ing or cycling in the near­by Wye Val­ley and For­est of Dean; a well equipped play­ground; a bar­be­cue area and plen­ty of out­door seat­ing where you can relax and lis­ten to the Riv­er Mon­now slow­ly wind its way down­stream to join the Riv­er Wye. The near­by facil­i­ties are superb: 10 min­utes walk will take you to a half a dozen excel­lent pubs, an organ­ic restau­rant, an Indi­an restau­rant , and the Mon­now Trail for fan­tas­tic walking. 

5 min­utes dri­ve will take you into the heart of the For­est of Dean with its stag­ger­ing array of activ­i­ties for peo­ple of every age and inter­est. If that’s not enough, you’re only 10 min­utes dri­ve from Symonds Yat, and Ross on Wye, with numer­ous award win­ning options for din­ing out.
