Sit­u­at­ed 3km from love­ly Pad­stow in Corn­wall, lying in the ham­let of St Issey, you will find this stun­ning for­mer 18th Cen­tu­ry Manor House, Cour­t­house and Mill. Ful­ly restored to its for­mer glo­ry by Par­ti Archi­tects, the atten­tion to detail is clear to see for the most dis­cern­ing hol­i­day­mak­er. The Inte­ri­or has been sym­pa­thet­i­cal­ly upgrad­ed to pro­vide all the facil­i­ties need­ed for the mod­ern day lux­u­ry hol­i­day home mar­ket, yet still man­ag­ing to retain the orig­i­nal char­ac­ter and fea­tures of the prop­er­ty. The authen­tic­i­ty of the building’s past can be seen through the use of exposed Cor­nish slat­ed walls, orig­i­nal beams, restored his­toric fire­places and oth­er raw mate­ri­als that com­bine the C18 and the con­tem­po­rary together. 

The build­ings com­bine to form a well thought out com­mu­nal court­yard space at the heart of ARC Pad­stow, giv­ing that indoor/​outdoor vibe for all your group to enjoy.

Indoors

Enter­ing the Manor through the entrance hall gives access to two liv­ing spaces, both with open fire places com­plete with logs (Sev­er­al bags are pro­vid­ed to get you start­ed). A chil­dren’s play­room with access to the gar­den.
The kitchen — State-of-the-art mod­ern and well equipped, yet retain­ing peri­od fea­tures pro­vides four ovens, piz­za oven, Braai and plen­ty of kitchen uten­sils.
The din­ing room — A stun­ning­ly designed space con­nect­ing out­side and in, an entire glass wall slides open to give full access to the patio, hot tub, and a bar area com­plete with the all impor­tant wine stor­age.
Across the first, sec­ond and third floors are eleven out of the twelve bed­rooms and bath­rooms; all won­der­ful­ly calm spaces with gen­tle décor and per­fect for relax­ation. Four of the rooms have king-size beds, the oth­er eight super-king size. Three of the super-kings have the option to be con­fig­ured as twin rooms, and one has 2 addi­tion­al trun­dle beds, suit­able for 2 addi­tion­al guests where nec­es­sary. All bed­rooms are either en-suite or have close access to their own pri­vate bath­rooms, fin­ished with Ital­ian carved mar­ble basins, deep soak tubs, and walk-in showers.

Out­doors

The build­ings sur­round and are con­nect­ed by the cen­tral court­yard right in the heart of the prop­er­ty, a hub com­plete with gar­den rooms, an oval sun lawn, out­door kitchen and wood-fired hot-tub.

To the side of the Manor House is a park­ing area for 6 cars with EV charg­er, and fur­ther space for 4 more cars avail­able nearby.

Local Area

A few kilo­me­tre’s and tucked west of the Riv­er Camel is the food­ie heav­en of Pad­stow, home to Rick Stein’s numer­ous eater­ies from fish and chips to lob­ster. This for­mer sleepy fish­ing port and har­bour town on the North Corn­wall coast has become a favourite for many, not only for its culi­nary scene, but for the beau­ti­ful scenery, walk­ing trails, quaint streets and bou­tique shops all with­in a stone’s throw of the Sev­en Bay
